I recently dined at 600 Kitchen & Bar in Kalamazoo and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was attentive and friendly, with my server, Krystal, ensuring all my needs were met throughout the evening. Krystal even gave me a little history lesson on the history of the building, so make sure you ask for Krystal. To start, I ordered the Walnut Old Fashioned, a delightful twist on the classic cocktail that was both rich and flavorful. For the main course, I chose the hanger steak with chimichurri sauce. The steak was cooked to as I requested, tender and juicy, complemented beautifully by the vibrant chimichurri. Thy allowed me to change my side as I’m not big on fries so they made me a light version of the blackened shrimp and grits. The shrimp were seasoned excellently, and the grits were creamy, making for a satisfying combination. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. Overall, my visit was memorable, and I highly recommend 600 Kitchen & Bar to anyone in or visiting the Kalamazoo area. The combination of excellent service, diverse menu, and inviting atmosphere makes it a standout dining destination.

The most amazing food, oh my word! Absolutely delicious!!! The staff were so friendly and courteous. . . Very easy to talk to, comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend the Brussel sprout appetizer. . . They were so yummy I could have ate another bowl! My marinated chicken was so tender & juicy and the mashed potatoes were so good. . . The blackened shrimp & grits that my husband ordered was also amazing!!!! We are from 2 hours away and are already planning our next drive to Kalamazoo for sprouts

Tho is one of our favorites in Kalamazoo. It’s close to downtown with ample parking. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very cool. Highly recommend.

High quality delicious food. Pomegranate Breeze cocktail was very refreshing. The Burmese fries starter is quite unique and is served with tender pork. I had salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The Wagyu burger looked great and my daughter loved it. Great service and nice vibes.

Very good food and very decent portion sizes. All of the food had great flavor and went together very well. The atmosphere had a nice warehouse chic vibe and felt very clean. Food came out very fast too (although we did go at a non busy time). This was actually a recommendation from a college student, so it must be well beloved from locals. However, the food is on the pricier side.

Good food and great service. Thank you Delaney. We were disappointed by not being able to order from the all day menu listed on their website. We will return at another time to be able to do so.

Good food. Attentive service. Laid back and animated. The shrimp and grits was delicious - plump shrimp and juicy bacon bits. For white wines, go with Gavi or Bougie Blanc - those are the best two on the list. Ask for Crystal - she was great!

Great place and very friendly staff. We came in from Pittsburgh to visit a job site in town and came here for dinner afterwards. Food was amazing and couldn’t be happier we chose this restaurant. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
